Keep track of characters, places and notes
Where to keep who's who, the places in your story and every loose idea.

Notes and research (every plan)
The Notes and Research sections sit next to your manuscript in the binder. Use them for ideas, outlines, reminders and pasted research. They never appear in your exported book.
Characters and places (Writer and Studio)
- Characters holds a profile for everyone in your story: role, description, goals and a picture.
- Locations does the same for places.
- Type @ in the editor to link a character or place; the link opens their profile.
The story bible (Studio)
For bigger worlds, the story bible adds categories and custom fields for anything — magic systems, factions, timelines of events.
On the Free plan, keep characters in a note called Characters — when you upgrade, nothing needs to move: notes stay where they are.
