Frequently asked questions
Is Inktoria really free right now?
Yes. While we test the app, every plan is free: pick Free, Writer or Studio and you get that plan's features at no cost. We'll announce prices well in advance, and nobody is charged without choosing a paid plan.
What happens to my books if I change plans?
Nothing is ever deleted or locked. If you move to a smaller plan, you keep reading, editing and exporting all your existing projects — you just can't create more than your plan allows.
Can I always export my work?
Always. Markdown and plain-text exports are available on every plan; Writer and Studio add Word, PDF and EPUB. Your writing is never trapped.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Canceling keeps your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can resume before then.
Do yearly plans cost less?
Yes — paying yearly is cheaper than paying month by month. The savings are shown on each plan.
Is my manuscript private?
Completely. Our team can see your account and plan, never your writing.
