Plans, prices and the public beta
What's free during the beta, what each plan includes, and how charging will (and won't) start.

The public beta
Inktoria is in public beta. Until the date shown on the Pricing page, every plan — Free, Writer and Studio — is free. Pick the plan you'd like to try; you get exactly what it includes.
You'll get at least 30 days' notice before paid plans start. You will never be charged unless you choose a paid plan and enter your payment details yourself. When the beta ends, anyone who hasn't paid simply continues on Free — nothing is deleted.
Plans
- Free — 2 active writing projects, unlimited words, notes, writing statistics and basic Word (DOCX) export.
- Writer — unlimited projects, characters and places, plotting boards, goals, longer history, and advanced DOCX, PDF and EPUB export.
- Studio — everything in Writer, plus series, worldbuilding, relationships and timelines, advanced analysis and collaboration.
Prices include tax. Archived projects don't count towards the Free limit.
Free trial
The 14-day Studio trial starts after the beta — during the beta everything is already free, so nobody uses up their trial.
Sale prices
Sometimes we offer a lower price for a limited time (for example at New Year). The regular price is shown struck through next to it. Subscriptions started during an offer keep the offer price while they stay active.
